ATL welcomed a group of NC Engineering students from Dundee and Angus College this week to give them an introduction to what a production environment looks like and how it functions.

The students will then likely go on to complete a Modern Apprenticeship, which is an area that ATL is very keen to get more involved with.

The group was shown around by ATLs Operations Manager, Tom Hanratty and was shown around areas including welding, blending, plasma spray, paint spray and heat treatment.

Tom commented:
“It was great to be able to show the students what we do at ATL and explain a bit about the world of factory work. They had some great questions and we look forward to welcoming some of them back for a bit of work experience later in the year!”
