Yesterday, ATL was delighted to host a visit from the Hedzup youth charity, which is based in Arbroath.
The initial Hedzup concept was developed by Ian Pert (ex-mountain rescue) and Ewan Stewart (Ex-Police Scotland) whilst awaiting a helicopter during a mountain rescue callout. It is an idea that has grown into providing youth support and development, outdoor pursuits and opportunities for underprivileged youths to develop for a brighter future. ATL employees nominated the charity for a £500 donation at Christmas and as a result, we were happy to show some of the guys what we do. Everyone seemed to find it interesting and hopefully other groups can follow.
