ATL is always delighted to be able to help support the Fairfield Community Hub, especially at this time of year and we have recently donated £500 to boost their efforts!
Fairfield Community Hub is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organization founded in 2008. The ethos behind The Hub is to be a catalyst in bringing back a sense of pride, enthusiasm and connectedness to the community through sports, creative classes and other recreational activities.
For example, they have their own food larder, run by volunteers that supports over 140 families, that’s 700+ people! The larder relies on donations and all the money received goes back into buying food and toiletries.
The Hub also runs Creative Kids Dundee which creates a safe space for kids aged 8-16 to learn valuable life skills including sewing, dying, designing, embroidering and crotchet. Other activities include walking football and their Christmas toy appeal.
